köztéri táncelőadás SHAPERS_Nassim el Raqs #7 from Compagnie Ex Nihilo on Vimeo. A francia Ex Nihilo társulat két rendező-koreográfusa két-két fiatal pályakezdő táncművészt választott ki nyílt pályázat útján négy országból: Franciaországból, Spanyolországból, Egyiptomból és Marokkóból, akikkel közösen létrehozták a Shapers előadást. A 2016 áprilisától kezdve egy éven keresztül tartó alkotófolyamat két intenzív workshopot követően jutott el az alexandriai bemutatóig (2017. májusában), majd az előadást bemutatták Marokkóban (Marrakech), Bosznia-Hercegovinában (Mostar, Sarajevo, Banja Luka) és Spanyolországban (Isla de la Cartuja, Séville, Córdoba) – minden esetben a helyi viszonyokhoz adaptálva azt. Az alkotás, valamint a helyi adaptációk során a fiatal táncművészek a két koreográfus vezetésével elsősorban a különböző országok kortárs tánctendenciáit, „táncnyelveit” vizsgálták. Közben keresték a közös hangot és témákat, a kölcsönös inspirációt, valamint az emberi test, a táncos és a tánc, valamint az épített környezet egymásra hatását is kutatták. Az előadásnak helyet adó városok emblematikus vagy éppen rejtett szépségeket rejtő helyszínein a tánc erejével és segítségével igyekeznek azok szépségét és költészetét megragadni és láthatóvá tenni a közönség számára. The year-long creative process started in April 2016 and was comprised of two intensive workshops. The premier was then held in Alexandria, Egypt in May 2017, and was followed by premiers in Morocco (Marrakesh), Bosnia-Herzegovina (Mostar, Sarajevo, Banja Luka) and Spain (Isla de la Cartuja, Séville, Córdoba) – and each time the production was adapted to a new performance space. Led by the two choreographers the young dance artists examine the contemporary dance tendencies, „dance languages” of the different countries, searching for a common voice, theme and inspiration during the creative process and the local adaptations, while also analysing the effect the human body, the dancer, dance and the constructed environment have on one another. By performing in both emblematic and lesser known public spaces they aim to show the audience the beauty and poetry hidden in the city space itself – all through the power of dance.
