JEGYINFORMÁCIÓ

“A PLACCC-DAMU-MKE kooperációjában egy több darabból álló, helyspecifikus (site-specific) performatív installációt mutatunk be. A Magyar Képzőművészeti Egyetem Látványtervező hallgatói 2018. júliusában egyhetes intenzív munkával a KUBIK (Jászai Mari tér, Budapest) alagsorának különböző helyiségeiben hozták létre performanszaikat.

Az alkotói folyamat különleges volt számukra, mivel ebben a munkában a hagyományos tervezői státusszal szemben önálló, független, egyéni alkotóként vettek részt. Az alkotás/tervezés folyamata alatt, az egyéni, személyes megközelítéseik folyamatos kutatásával és értelmezésével jutottak egyre közelebb a performansz alatt látható végleges formákhoz, amelyek egyben az adott tér egyéni, helyspecifikus értelmezései.” (az MKE kiállításának alkotói)

“We will unveil a site-specific performative installation made up of multiple artworks as a part of the cooperation between PLACCC, DAMU and MKE. The scenography students of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts (MKE) created their performances in the various underground spaces of KUBIK (Jászai Mari square, Budapest) during a week-long intensive workshop in July 2018.

This creative process was unique for them because they could work as independent, individual artists as opposed to the more traditional role of scenography artists in Hungary. During the creative and planning process they searched for the individual and personal while gradually approaching the final version of their performances, which are also unique interpretations of their site-specific spaces.” (contributing artists of the MKE exhibition)
