Ritual in the forest, common dance on the street, sensorial experiences and Japanese poetry danced in choreographies – in the program of the second edition of Placcc Dance between 2nd and 24th June.
This will be the second time Placcc Festival organises its dance-focused special edition, Placcc Dance, inviting dance productions in public space created by young, Hungarian artists. The festival will span the whole of June and will provide an opportunity for artists with experience in public space projects to experiment freely – and we also want to support artists who may be leaving traditional theater spaces behind for the first time.
At this year’s edition of Placcc Dance the audience will get a chance to see works by Ziggurat Project, Luca Borsos and Márk Bartha, Alex Miklósy, Viktória Matisz és Ayumi Toyabe, as well as the Symptoms and Veronika Szabó – both in the city streets and in a nearby forest. The program will be completed by the launch of the podcast based on a performance by Lili Stern which was presented as part of the last year edition of Placcc Dance.
