The performers will follow the rhythm of the traffic on Széll Kálmán tér for an hour, until their movements form a complete composition.
Superfusion, created by Éva Gálik and Boglárka Varga and completed by Alejandra Rosas and Ádám Bot, in their dance performance in public space called On schedule, improvise for an hour, their dance emerging directly from the pulsating rhythm of the space. Their micro-actions are born from observing the movement of people passing through the square – as the crowd flows through the square in smaller “corridors” upon the arrival of a tram, subway or more crowded bus. The dancers move between them with improvisations against the tide to get to their next location.
In some corners of the square – on the trapezoidal or triangular benches in the shade, around the fountain, in front of the map wall, around the sundial – they create shorter scenes, thus following the rhythm of the traffic for an hour and changing the locations according to just where a tram, bus or the subway runs into, where passers-by show up. Finally, the scenes are arranged in order, and the entire composition is performed.
