Everyone likes to play with old school computer games! Snake, Pacman, Asteroids, Lunar Lander and many other legendary games will now be reborn as enormous, public space laser projections.
Meetlab collective, which works on the border between art and technology, and mostly in public spaces, has renovated an ice cream tricycle into a mobile laser projection station. This mobile station is equipped with powerful lasers, making the projection of large-scale interactive light displays possible – and now everyone will be able to enjoy old school computer games projected onto various surfaces in the city! Snake, Pacman, Asteroids, Lunar Lander and many other legendary games will leave their boring monitors behind, and move into the city space where anyone will be able to play them by themselves or with friends in an unusual gaming space. Lasertricycle will appear at such unique locations as Budapest’s strangest street, Kürt street, which has no doors or house gates, or on the corner of Bókay street and Práter street where the old Gólya Café used to operate.
