Éva Bubla: Aromawalk

On 4 September 2022, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., Eva Bubla, resident artist of PLACCC Festival, and Judit Szegő, expert of the Clean Air Action Group will lead a smellwalk and invite participants to a related discussion.

What smells and scents shape Budapest? What kind of human and non-human agents, environmental or social factors, activities determine it? What stories can scents unfold? During the workshop we explore the surrounding area by using our body and olfactory senses, looking for the unique scent profile and fable of the city. The talk following the walk will shed light on the relationship between air quality and urban green areas, smells and fragrances.

The event is related to the planning of Designated Breathing Zone, a project being developed within the framework of PLACCC Festival.
The event is in Hungarian but an English interpreter can be provided.
It is recommended to wear comfortable clothes suitable for walking and movement.
