helyspecifikus táncelőadás Létezik statikus mozdulat, vagy egy helyben álló dallam? Ha a zene és a mozgás párhuzamosan haladnak egymás mellett találkoznak a végtelenben? Transzformáció tanulmány, amelyben a változás az érzékelhetőség határát súrolja. Az eredetileg színházi térre készített darab a PLACCC Fesztiválra három egymástól nagyon különböző városi térben értelmeződik újra. A szélsőséges repetíció lehetőségeit és hatásait vizsgálva a darab egy különlegesen intenzív felületet nyújt a kontemplációra. Ennek kontúrjaként az eltérő helyszínek más-más asszociációkat kínálnak, így szinte három különböző előadást láthatunk. A 2012-ben Amszterdamban bemutatott darab, London, Berlin és Budapest színpadai után először kerül bemutatásra helyspecifikus, köztéri verzióban. „A mozgás monotonitását és a monotonitás kiváltotta folyamatos, de csak árnyalatnyit módosuló testállapot-változásokat exponálja, (…) mely veszélyességénél fogva eleve kényelmetlenné teszi az oldott nézői szemlélődést.” (KRÁLL Csaba, Élet és Irodalom) Koncepció, előadás: SOMLÓ Dávid, VASS Imre A PLACCC 2018 FESZTIVÁL a 2018. szeptember 22-én megrendezett Színházak Éjszakája program együttműködő partnere. /// SOMLÓ Dávid – VASS Imre: It comes it goes Is there such a thing as a static movement or a melody that stays motionless? If music and dance move parallel to one another, will they meet somewhere in infinity? In this study of transformation change always skirts our senses. First conceptualized for the stage, the performance will now be re-imagined in three very different city spaces during PLACCC Festival. The piece will examine the possibilities and effects inherent in radical repetition, creating an opportunity for uniquely intense contemplation. Besides this the different venues also allow for different associations, leading to three different performances. After its premier in Amsterdam in 2012, and after being staged in London, Berlin and Budapest, this will be the first time the performance can be seen in its site-specific, public space version. „[It] enhances our perception of the monotony of movement and the continuous, gradual changing state of the body, inducing a sense of danger in the viewer contemplating it, making this contemplation uncomfortable.” (KRÁLL Csaba, Élet és Irodalom) Concept, performance: SOMLÓ Dávid, VASS Imre PLACCC 2018 Festival is a collaborating partner of the Night of Theatres program, organised on 22th September 2018. |
