JEGYVÁSÁRLÁS
A város hangja egy multidiszciplináris projekt, amely Európa-szerte a mindennapi élet szubjektív érzékelését állítja középpontjába, vegyítve egymással tényeket és fikciót, emlékeket és értelmezéseket, személyes és kollektív történeteket és történelmeket.
2015 és 2019 között Nada Gambier (FIN/BE), Mark Etchells (UK) es Thomas Kasebacher (AT) különböző európai városokba látogattak el, történeteket, emlékeket és megfigyeléseket gyűjtöttek a dolgok aktuális állásáról. Utazásaik során találkoztak szakácsokkal, rendőrökkel, mezőgazdászokkal, jogászokkal, aktivistákkal, tanárokkal, taxisokkal és sok-sok más emberrel, és velük együtt jártak körül olyan fogalmakat, mint az otthon, a változás vagy a vagyon.
2019 februárjában az alkotók tíz napot töltöttek Csepelen, elmélyedve a negyed ipari múltjában és jelenlegi helyzetében. Ezt követően Nada és Mark visszatérnek Csepelre, és helyi gyerekekkel közösen dolgoznak egy performatív idővonalon, amely a múlt kollektív emlékeit és a negyed lehetséges jövőjét vázolja fel.

Nada Gambier (FIN/BE) – Mark Etchells (UK): The Voice of a City

The Voice of a City is a multi-disciplinary project that focuses on subjective perceptions on everyday life around Europe, mixing fiction, fact, memory and interpretation and bringing together personal and collective (hi)stories.
Between 2015 and 2019 Nada Gambier (FIN/BE), Mark Etchells (UK) and Thomas Kasebacher (AT) travelled across Europe searching for stories, testimonies and observations on the current state of affairs. During their travels they met with cooks, policemen, farmers, lawyers, political activists, teachers, taxi drivers and more, together with them reflecting on such notions as belonging, change and wealth.
As part of this quest they were invited, in February 2019, to investigate life on Csepel, its past industrial life but also its current climate. Following this initial research Nada and Mark now return to Csepel to work with a group of kids on a timeline that mixes personal as well as collective events from the past with thoughts on Csepel’s potential future.
The program is realised in frame of In Situ ACT. In Situ ACT is co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
