The young choreographer steps out to public space for the first time when presenting the public space version of her sweepingly dynamic show Miracle, originally presented in a theatre space.
The choreography explores the bodies of the dancers, the highlighting of parts of their bodies, and the infinite possibilities of connection, merging with an intense inner journey. The Miracle special edition is a street performance where the dancers start away from each other, begin to gravitate towards each other as they make their own way inside the body. Their communication takes place between body parts, which eventually harmonise with the movements of their partners, until they become a common, dynamic force. The unity eventually merges, the individual dissolves into the community and conquers the space available.
The public space version of the performance extends the scope of this space available to the city, and other bodies – human or non-human – are inevitably getting into the constellation alongside the dancers’ bodies.
